Team MB

Qualifying: Everybody sets off all at once, i pulled forward a few meters to see when everybody had left. i wanted clear track to avoid crashing into anyone on cold tyres. waited 30 seconds then pulled out, only to get beached on the bump outside the pit box. tried to exit back to the box but got the 10 minute penalty. thinking that was somewhat unfair i left the server and rejoined, only to have the same thing happen again! eventually got some laps down and qualified 5th i think.

Sprint: Got an excellent start, almost flying into the back of P3/4, turn 1 was a bit crazy with Andrea going off in front of me and cars closing in from my right. i jumped into Andreas place and got a good line into T2, which got me another position as i accellerated past P4 like they were standing still. the rest of the race i just kept things steady and on the track. Finished third.

Main race: Starting from third, i got a good start again, but the cars in front slowed down more than i had expected. i stupidly jabbed at the brake too hard and spun, barely getting off the track before i got hit. From the back of the pack i got a few positions back on the straight, and after that it was mostly through other drivers going off rather than myself driving well. I finished 19 seconds behind and in third. I had pretty much accepted that i'd be fith until i saw Andrea parked up on the final chicane, and then Matt along the pit straight two laps later.

While i wish there was more competition during the main race (i've only actually overtaken three cars in my entire netkar racing 'carreer') i'm pretty happy with the result.
